Moisall Manor

From 1651 to 1661, the estate was held as collateral by Kaspar von Vieregge, after which ownership changed frequently. The manor house of Moisall was built in 1912 by the architect Paul Korff on behalf of the then Baron Klotz. In 1945, the owners were forcibly dispossessed and expelled by the communists.

After the end of the Second World War, the manor house served as accommodation for refugees. Today, a memorial stone commemorating the land reform of September 3, 1945, stands in front of the house.

From 1992, the manor house stood empty until it was bought by a private individual in 1994. In 2006, it was acquired, along with warehouses in the village, by a private company. At that time, the manor house was in great need of renovation. The renovation of the old manor house began with the original idea of creating a training center for drilling personnel. However, when the entrepreneur who wanted to establish the school withdrew from the project, work continued with the aim of transforming the manor house into a hospitality establishment.
