ManorMönau
Mönau Manor
Mönau is first mentioned in a document in 1394 as Maynaw. The manor is documented for the year 1605 in a deed of the Nostitz family of Jahmen.
The once two-winged manor house was begun in the 18th century and completed in the 19th century with the second wing.
In 1938, a girls' camp of the Reich Labour Service was established in the manor house. After its dissolution in 1944, a military hospital was housed there.
After the expropriation, the main wing of the manor house was demolished in 1946 to obtain building materials. The remaining wing is used as a residential building.
