Klein Helle Manor

The manor house was built between 1725 and 1733 on behalf of the von Maltzahn family. In the early 19th century, a side wing with a tower was added. In 1896, ownership passed to Ulrich Heinrich Carl Fritz Bahlcke. The farm buildings, some of which are still preserved today, date from the 1920s and were built by the then estate owner Schwanitz. In 1945, the owners were expropriated and expelled by the communists. After the end of the war in 1945, a school was established in the house and it served as the seat of the municipal administration; later it became an orphanage. From 1991 to 2003, it functioned as a children's and youth home, operated by Diakonie Malchin. The house is currently vacant.
