Jühnsdorf Manor

A first noble seat in Jühnsdorf can be traced back to 1340, owned by Heiso de Gudensdorp. In 1480, it was the von Milow family, followed by the von Schlabrendorf family, at the end of the 16th century the von Hake family, in 1652 the von Otterstedt family, in 1785 the von Redern family, in 1798 the von der Groeben family, and in 1823 the von dem Knesebeck family. The latter had the manor house, which still stands today, built in 1824. In 1925, ownership transferred to the district of Teltow. The house subsequently served as the official residence of the district administrator. After 1945, the house was used as a district agricultural school and apprentice dormitory.
