The Harkensee Manor House was built in 1830 by the von Plessen family in the neoclassical style. Until their forced expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945, the estate was owned by the Kersten family. After this, the manor house served residential purposes, as a doctor's office, and as the seat of the municipal council. Today, the house contains holiday apartments.
