Groß Toitin Manor

Achim and Curd von Heyden received the estate as a fief from Duke Philipp of Pomerania in 1536. In the early 19th century, ownership passed to the von Heiden-Linden family. In 1846, ownership changed to Woldemar von Heyden, who had the manor house built in 1850. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Westphalian Meiering family received the estate as a hereditary lease and managed it until their forced expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945. Today, the manor house, which contains holiday apartments, is privately owned and is a listed building.
