History of Gutshaus Gremmelin+

The estate was owned by the von Oldenburg family since the middle of the 15th century. Gutshaus Gremmelin was built around 1800. In 1803, ownership changed to the von Pentz family. In 1928, the manor house burned down and was subsequently rebuilt. In 1945, the owners were expropriated by the communists. In 1995, the Schaffhausen family bought the property and renovated the manor house. Today, the manor house houses a hotel with 30 rooms.
