Gottin Manor

The estate was formerly owned by the von Lehsten family and, at the beginning of the 19th century, by Helmuth Theodor Petersen. In 1825, ownership transferred to the Parish family, who built the manor house as a neoclassical villa on the walls of a previous building between 1833-35 and added an extra floor in 1939. In 1945, the Parish family was dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After this, the manor house served as refugee accommodation, and later as a school.

In 1996, Linde Fritz from Stuttgart had the house fundamentally restored and established a cozy hotel with 26 beds. The house also features a wine cellar and a café. For culture enthusiasts, readings and exhibitions are regularly held, and not just for botanists, there is the annual Rose Festival in June.
