The Manor House – History+
The manor house of the former Johanniterkommende was built in 1840 and rebuilt 34 years later. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists.
Architecture and Interior+
It is a two-story plastered brick building with a hipped roof. The facades are structured by cornices and window frames. The main entrance is emphasized by a portico with a balcony.
Inside, the original room layout and numerous historical details have been preserved, including stucco ceilings, wooden paneling, and fireplaces.
The Park+
The manor house is surrounded by a spacious landscape park from the 19th century. In the park, there are numerous old trees, a pond, and a small chapel.
Current Use+
Today, the manor house is privately owned and is used as a hotel and event location. It is also possible to rent rooms for conferences and celebrations.
