Gellin Manor

The Gellin estate was owned by Werner von der Schulenburg in 1480. In 1669, the estate came into the possession of Matthias von Zastrow through the marriage of Clara Lucia von der Schulenburg. Since the marriage remained childless, the property fell to the sovereign Duke Karl VII, King of Sweden. Thereafter, the property changed hands in 1699 to the Lords of Eickstedt, to the Lords of Eickstedt-Peterswalde, in 1781 to the von Ramin family, in 1828 to Heinrich Ludwig Schulze, and in 1842 to Emil Kieckebusch. The Kieckebusch family was dispossessed and expelled by the communists in 1945.

The manor house was built between 1802-06 on the walls of a previous building. The building stood empty after the Wende until 2007.
