Drochow Manor

Children's home

From the property of the secularized Doberlug Monastery, a knight's seat developed in Drochow, which remained a manor until 1945. The manor house was built around 1880, but completely rebuilt around 1945. The manor was divided among new farmers with the land reform after 1945. In 1952, the first Agricultural Production Cooperative (LPG) of the Senftenberg district was formed from the manor's property.

The former manor house now houses a children's home run by the Arbeiterwohlfahrt Brandenburg Süd e.V.
