The Manor House of Gadow+
A jewel of Neoclassicism+
The manor house of Gadow is a two-story plastered building with a mansard hip roof. The central projection on the garden side is particularly striking. It is adorned with a balcony supported by Tuscan columns. The building is an outstanding example of early Neoclassicism in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
History of the Manor House
The manor house was built around 1800 by the Behr family. In 1802, ownership changed to the Lords of Gadow. In 1945, the owners were forcibly dispossessed by the communists.
