Daskow Manor

Daskow Manor

To be privately owned

The Daskow estate was owned by the Lords of Mörder until 1755. This line died out, and so the estate passed to the Lords of Kahlden. In 1775, ownership changed to the Lords of Stumpfeld-Lillienanker. In 1900, Wilhelm Robert Ernst Bolko von Stumpfeld-Lilienanker married Countess Marie Luise von Bernstorff. From 1905-1910, the current manor house was built on the walls of the old manor house. In 1945, the owners were forcibly dispossessed by the communists. The manor house then served as a municipal administration, kindergarten, restaurant, and residence. After 1990, the manor house came into private hands and stood empty. Now, the manor house is to be converted into a hotel.
