Daschow Manor

The estate became the property of the noble families Passow, Penz, and Pressentin in the 17th century. The descendants of the von Pressentin family were significantly involved in the design of the castle. Built around 1800 as a single-story half-timbered building, the manor house was converted into a multi-story hunting lodge in the Neo-Renaissance style at the end of the 19th century. In 1802, the property passed to the von Hartwig family, who resided here until their forced expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945. After the war, refugees were accommodated in the house, among others. In 1997, the manor house underwent extensive renovation. Since April 1, 2009, the Medakademie for the training of paramedics and emergency medical technicians has been housed in the manor house.
