Brohm Manor

The manor house was built in 1713-14. The property changed hands in 1846 to Adolph Friedrich Carl von Oertzen.

Exterior

The two-story, eleven-axis plastered building with a mansard hip roof was built on a high basement. The central projection on the garden side is emphasized by a triangular gable. The entrance portal on the courtyard side is framed by Tuscan pilasters and crowned by a segmental arch gable. The coats of arms of the von Dalberg and von Plessen families are placed above the portal.

Interior

Inside, a spacious hall with a two-flight staircase leads to the upper floor. The stucco work in the hall and in some of the representative rooms on the ground floor is particularly noteworthy. These include ceiling stucco with floral motifs and putti, as well as wall stucco with landscapes and allegorical figures.

Today, the manor house is privately owned and is used for residential purposes. Parts of the building are also used for cultural events and exhibitions.
