Gutshaus Benckendorf+

Benckendorf is first mentioned in 1249. The estate is named in 1440. The manor house was built in 1743. In 1808, the Eckermann family bought the property and merged it with the Johannstorf estate. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After this, the estate served as an LPG (agricultural production cooperative). After the reunification, the manor house came into the possession of the Koebcke family, who lovingly restored it and set up holiday apartments.
