Ralligen Manor (Merligen)

The manor house can be historically traced back to the 14th century and was used by Interlaken Monastery as a vineyard. After the introduction of the Reformation in 1528, it mostly belonged to Bernese patricians or citizens of the city of Thun until the 19th century. After it was then acquired and renovated by the Bernese merchant G. Christen, it housed a domestic science school for decades.

Since 1976, the Ralligen estate has belonged to the Evangelical Community of Christusträger and is used as a guesthouse for holidays and retreats.
