Foundation and Construction
The Franciscan monastery was founded in 1455 by Knight Georg Gradner. The monastery building was largely constructed between 1656-1665 by Bartolomeo Montiano, incorporating older parts. In the cloister courtyard stands a stone figure of Mary, kneeling on clouds, from the second quarter of the 18th century.
