Deutschordenskommende Biegenburg

The foundation of the Teutonic Order Commandery of Biegenburg dates back to the Teutonic Order, which established one of its commanderies here. This monastic institution played a significant role in the administration and management of the Order's properties in the region. Over the centuries, the commandery developed into an important spiritual and economic center, whose influence extended far beyond its immediate surroundings.

The former monastery is located in the city of Ravensburg in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, in southwestern Germany. The complex is situated at an elevation of approximately 555 meters above sea level and is nestled within the characteristic landscape of the Upper Swabia region.
