History+
The monastery of Felsberg was founded after the year 1247. It was dedicated to Saint James the Elder and served as a settlement of the Teutonic Order for over two centuries. In 1474, the Deutschordenshaus Felsberg was dissolved and secularized, bringing an end to its monastic function.
