Danganbrack Castle
On the south bank of the Rine river near Quin, stands a five storey MacNamara tower house, whose roofless four gables are fighting a losing battle against encroaching ivy. It is likely to have been built c.1500, and then remodelled in c.1600 with features such as outer walls with flush gables, and a kitchen fireplace sited at the lowest level being typical of this latter period.
