Château Vincy (Gilly)

To be privately owned

Vincy Castle in its current form dates from 1724, and was redesigned in the Neoclassical style in 1793. It stands on the site of a medieval castle that was destroyed by the Confederates in 1530. The castle, flanked by two low wings, was a residence for Voltaire and Lamartine.
