Château Goudichaud is a wine estate located in the commune of Saint-Germain-du-Puch, in the natural region of Entre-deux-Mers, east of the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It produces a wine of the Graves-de-Vayres appellation.
History+
Built in 1780 by the architect Gabriel Durand, collaborator of Victor Louis, for M. de Melet, advisor to the Parliament of Bordeaux, the château subsequently became the summer residence of the Archbishops of Bordeaux. In 1930, the estate was acquired by the Glotin family, heir to Marie Brizard. Paul Glotin, president of Marie Brizard and the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was its owner, before the château passed to Yves Glotin in 2002.
