Château Giez

To be privately owned

History of the Castle+

The castle was built in the 15th and 16th centuries for the de Pierre family. In 1613, Jean de Pierre sold the property to Etienne Bourgeois, whose son married a de Pierre, thus uniting the divided property. It consists of two wings connected by a square residential tower and a hexagonal stair tower. The castle, which is still privately owned today, was extensively renovated in 1816.
