Château des Bassieux
The Château des Bassieux is located on a hillside, west of the village of Anse, in the Rhône department.
History+
In 1193, the knight Guichard de Marzé obtained the fief of Bassieux from the Church of Lyon. In 1760, the owner was Perrichon de Châtillon, and currently the Sain family has acquired the estate, and Jules Marie Joseph Antoine Sain is a winegrower.

Description+
The castle, built in the 18th century, was restored in the 19th century. It has the shape of a quadrilateral and includes a ground floor and an upper floor. The east facade and the two round towers flanking it were formerly crowned with battlements. The estate is private property. It is not open to visitors.
