13th Century
The Château de Bochat was built in the 13th century by the canonesses of Lausanne Cathedral.
16th Century
In the 16th century, ownership passed to Manuel von Bern.
17th Century
In 1676, the castle was owned by the Lords of Loys. One of the residents was Isaac von Loys - a bailiff - who demanded the death penalty against Major Davel.
20th Century
In 1910, the castle was in such poor condition that it rained through its roofs. The owner refrained from maintaining it. It was sold and the new owner restored the castle.
