The castle ruin Wirsberg, also called Wirtesburg, is a castle ruin on the castle rock northwest of the confluence of the Koser and Schorgast rivers in the market town of Wirsberg in the Upper Franconian district of Kulmbach in Bavaria.
The hilltop castle was built around 1200 by the House of Andechs-Merania, mentioned in 1231, and destroyed in 1554 and during the Thirty Years' War. The Lords of Wirsberg are named as former owners of the castle. Only remnants of the walls of the former castle complex remain.
