Unterdettingen Castle
The Unterdettingen ruin is the ruin of a lowland castle at the confluence of the Dießenbach into the Neckar, located north of the residential area of Unterdettingen in Dettingen, a district of Horb am Neckar in the Freudenstadt district (Baden-Württemberg).
The castle was built by the Lords of Dettingen, who were mentioned from the 12th century onwards, sometimes bore the surname Lamp, and were ministeriales of the Counts of Hohenberg and the Counts Palatine of Tübingen. Significant wall remains of the former castle complex are still preserved in a farmhouse.
