History of the Castle+
The castle was built in the 15th century by the Lords of Radmannsdorf. They owned the castle until 1568. After this, the two castles were separated and divided among the sons. In 1632, ownership passed to the Lords of Saurau and in 1718 to the Lords of Wurmbrand. After this, the castle fell into disrepair. From 1806, the property belonged to the Barons of Gudenus.
