The Castle of Großenzersdorf+

The former town castle in the center of Großenzersdorf was originally surrounded by a rampart, moat, and a ring wall. It was first mentioned in a document in 1196 as the Freising Episcopal Castle. From 1500 onwards, it fell into disrepair. The largest part was demolished in 1825. Today, only a few wall remnants remain.
