The remains of the Castle can be visited

The Doubravka Castle was built in 1478 by Johann Illburg von Wresowitz (czech: Jan Illburg z Vřesovic). The original castle was built over by newer buildings, including a tourist restaurant.

In addition to the main buildings were located in the castle originally several cannon towers, of which some remains still exist today.

The castle was a circlip from bastions in major modifications in the 16th century. In the Thirty Years' War, the closure of the castle was located. Through its modern attachment was part of the emperor's concern that it could serve as a shelter to the insurgents. Since 1655 the castle was considered abandoned.
