The castle ruin Altneufels, also Alt-Neufels, comprises the remains of a spur castle on the outermost tip of a southern valley slope spur northwest of Neufels, a hamlet of the municipality of Neuenstein in the Hohenlohe district in Baden-Württemberg.
Of the former small motte-and-bailey castle (motte) with a shallow moat facing northeast, the foundation walls of a residential tower are still preserved.
Presumably, the castle served as a refuge and was not permanently inhabited.
