Burg Kirchberg am Walde+
Die Herren von Kirchberg erbauten die Burg. Sie wurde erstmals im 13. Jahrhundert erwähnt. Bis 1289 war die Burg im Besitz von Hadmar von Schönberg. Hiernach wechselte der Besitz an das Stift Zwettl, an die Herren von Rauhenstein, 1592 an Hannibal von Sonderndorf und die Familie Binder. 1714 wurde Teile des Berings abgebrochen. 1743 erfolgte der Umbau zum Schüttkasten.
