Oberfronrath Castle

Haus Oberfrohnrath+
Haus Oberfrohnrath was already mentioned in 1112 in the annals of Herzogenrath's Rode Castle. Around 1260, it came into the possession of the Archbishops of Cologne. In the 16th/17th century, the current four-winged complex with its four corner towers was built; the north wing bears the year 1646. In the 20th century, the castle was renovated.
