The Bishop's Court+

The Bishop's Court (also known as Königstein Palace or Rumohrenhof) was presumably built in the mid-15th century by Bishop Nikolaus IV of Schleswig. In 1773, after the dissolution of the cathedral chapter, Baron Hugo von Königstein purchased the property and subsequently had the building converted into its present form. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the house occasionally served as a military hospital during wartime. From 1828 to 1938, the house was used as a boys' school. Since 2006, the house has once again been in church ownership.
