The Episcopal Palace or the Episcopal Court at Domplatz 27 in Münster is the residence of the Bishop of Münster.
The architect of this building, erected in 1732, is not definitively known. However, it is now generally assumed to be Peter Pictorius the Younger or Lambert Friedrich Corfey. It was initially used as the Deanery of the Cathedral. The gate enclosing the courtyard of honor, however, was made by Conrad Schlau and survived the Second World War undamaged. Unfortunately, the reconstruction of the former Deanery of the Cathedral after the Second World War was not carried out very carefully. Only the side wings were precisely reconstructed.
