Kloster Dalheim

The foundation of Dalheim Convent dates back to the Middle Ages. It was settled by Augustinian nuns, a female order following the rules of Saint Augustine. Over the centuries, the convent developed into an important spiritual and economic center in the Paderborn region. Its history is marked by phases of growth and prosperity, but also by challenges and changes, which ultimately led to the dissolution of the monastic community.
