Gstettenhof Manor

The Gstettenhof, originally owned by the Bishop of Regensburg, was first mentioned in a document in 1301 as "Wolfharts lehen des Goeten". Ownership then changed in 1326 to Otto von dem Stain, in 1334 to Bishop Nikolaus of Regensburg, to the Lords of Zinzendorf, from 1580-87 to the Hierner family, in 1590 to Lienhard Zellhofer, and in 1601 to the Fux family. The current three-sided complex dates back to the 18th century, with the facade and front garden design carried out in 1923 by Leopold Pasching. The monastery grilles on the ground floor date from 1946. The design of the wooden veranda in the garden front is by Josef Hoffmann, and the garden design by Emmerich Ormos in 1930.
