The Old Castle+
History+
Medieval Origins
The Old Castle was built in the 13th century by the Lords of Züschen. In 1409, ownership transferred to the Lords of Meysenbug. In 1433, the castle was rebuilt.
Renaissance and Later
In the 16th century, the castle was reconstructed. In 1862, the castle burned down and was rebuilt in a simplified form in 1882.
