Old Catholic parish church of St. Anthony Abbas

The church's origins trace back to an Antonius Chapel, first mentioned in 1378. This late Gothic chapel, with a single nave, a west tower, and a five-eighths choir apse, retained its form until the late 19th century. In 1435, an Antonite preceptory was established next to it, followed by a monastery in 1652. This monastery was later dissolved and demolished. Since 1861, the church has served as a parish. The medieval tower, repeatedly damaged by lightning strikes, was restored to its original form in 1863. Due to population growth in the parish area, Franz Pelzer expanded the church in 1882 into a hall church with two side naves. All three naves feature ribbed vaulted ceilings, and the added sections are covered with hip roofs that extend perpendicularly from the central nave's roof. A crucifixion group with a crucifix from the early 15th century is among the notable furnishings.
